We know many of the issues discussed here at Make Birth Better can be distressing and can trigger experiences for some of you reading this.

If you feel acutely distressed or at risk of self harm please think about a local crisis plan for you, this could include any of the list below:

See your GP or your local CMHT if they are working with you. 

Go to your local A & E, there is psychiatric support available 24 hours a day in most hospitals now. 

Call the Samaritans

Speak to your partner, family or friends.

We will always do anything we can do to support women here at Make Birth Better, but we do not provide a crisis response and our messages are not routinely monitored over night.
